We at Purelymail feel that it’s important to know about your team, the people behind the service providing you your email and communications. You place a lot of trust in us, and therefore we should be transparent about who we are. The personal touch is just one of the reasons that makes Purelymail so different from the other services out there. So, we are happy to announce two new members of our Purelymail team!
Welcoming: Alice
Hello, everyone! Alice here!
I am a UK-based student with a long-standing passion for the technology and infrastructure that we use daily in this technological age. This passion is something that I hope can be represented in the work that I do here with Kevin and the team.
I first discovered Purelymail around the time that Kevin announced ownership of the company. I was running a personal homelab, with one of my major projects being email infrastructure run locally. If you have ever tried it or read any r/selfhosted posts, you will be sure to know how much of a headache it is! I had learnt about Purelymail from one of these posts, tried it and was immediately hooked!
This experience and passion is exactly why I’m here. I reached out to Kevin to learn if there were any opportunities for me to work with him on Purelymail to help build this honestly brilliant service, and I am so thankful that he saw these qualities in me and brought me on!
I am very glad to announce that we recently had a new team member join us! He has also been asked to share a little about himself with you. I was lucky enough to interview him, and I can honestly say that he shares this passion that Scott, Kevin and I have for tech and specifically Purelymail!
Welcoming: Curtis
Hey everyone, I’m Curtis!
I’m stoked to be part of the team. I actually found Purelymail the same way a lot of you probably did: looking for a simple, cheap, no-nonsense way to host email for my dozens of project domains. I’ve been a huge fan of the service, but when I saw the 2026 roadmap post, I knew I wanted to do more than just pay for a subscription; I wanted to help build it. I saw that form at the bottom for people interested in helping out, and it was a no-brainer “shut up and take my application” moment for me.
A little about me, I’m based out of Arizona, USA, so because of that 100+ degree (Fahrenheit) heat and deadly sun, I spend a lot of time inside at my computer. My background is mostly in the public cloud and security side of tech, and I’m eager to bring that to the table as we grow. It’s going to be awesome joining Alice and Kevin to help build and grow what Scott started. I’m excited to jump right into things by helping clear up our support ticket queue and work on those long-anticipated features you all have been asking for.
I’m here to help however I can, so if you see me lurking in Discord, GitHub, or popping up in your support tickets, definitely say hi!
